starry starry night...

As I gazed up the night sky, so many galactic stars! I looked away, and gazed again, they are still there. They are blinking telling me they won't leave me alone on a night like this. But I really wish they go away...dark gloomy skies filled with stars. Bad premonition, it shows you are...empty inside ( the dark gloomy part) ecstatic outsie ( those twinkies, what else?!?)

I blamed it on those medicines. I'm on drugs lately. Ohh yeah.. antibiotics, antivirus, anti inflammation,painkillers..you name it I've got it. I don't recall all kinds of sickness I have...uterus minor disallocation, chest congestion, skin psoriasis, slip disc at most recent..do I sound enough sicko already?

I don't care. There isn't anything that can practically scare the hell out of me anymore. Before this health issue, let's mention -- Car accidents I've got it too!! Voila, that makes me the most erm...Survived Jinx in da World? Thank u thank u..

Ageing is definitely not an issue either. I've just reached the big 3 in a simple, quiet, chillaxing way -- just the pefect way I wanted it. See?? I don't need celebrations too and I survived!!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger -- who's who philosopher.

What doesn't kill you instantly makes you die a slower death -- Yennyho.

Life is too predictable when you reach a certain age. Unless you climb Mount Everest up and down everyday or eat maggots for fun...I can't find anything more amusingly exciting.

But, simplicity is true happiness. I may sound like a pessimist seeing the glass half empty, but I didn't complain why is the glass not full either. I may sound like suicidal having not much passion in life, but I don't need raging temper to keep life going on.

I am such because, as I gazed up the dark gloomy sky I see those stars. Main point is, i still have the time to push my chin up and look up high. There are so many out there, who seemed to have the most happening lifestlye, advancing career, delicious cash account, all that glitz & glamour -- had missed the chance to stop a little while, and enjoy the dark but meteoric skies. I didn't have all that yet, but i see stars. I see You.

a note for love

Wow, this gotta be the most romantic love letter I've ever shared..

Dear hubby,

It's good thing you didn't let me fetch you to the airport tonight. I was crying along the journey home. I wonder how bad it would be if I'd need to endure the pain if i had to see you leave at departure hall...

Like said, I was weeping like your baby on the way home. As I stopped at the junction, I remember the jokes we made. When the traffic light turns red, and I pushes the gear to neutral, it feels like how I used to help you release the gear when you drive me around town. As the songs play, I could hear you singing along too..How I love your off-tune...There are still countless of things that made my spirits weaken. I wanted to give all this up and decide never to continue this journey without you..

But you know I won't. I braved myself to continue accelerating, knowing although this is tough, but never alone. Togetherness is bliss, and I'm blessed to be given a chance to learn about life with you.

Hubby, I don't worry about how much wealth you will find for me, I don't care if there will be any treasure presented to me upon your return. I only wish that you will be healthy at body, mind and soul..every moment. I hope too you will enjoy life and see this world as a beautiful place like how you have taught me about life. I pray that your days will be blessed and all interesting moments mesmerizing you...always.

Love,
Your life partner

Gosh. I love simplicity. Especially in love.

first Saturday of 2012

Whoa...it's 2012! ........ and there's really nothing extremely special about it, right? Except that it is another year after 2011, and next year it's gonna be 2013? But according to the Mayan calendar, there won't be any 2013. Not even 21.12.2012 because the world will end by 20.12.2012. Damn, I thought that would be an auspicious date! Now, I have to think of another day to get married =P

Okay.....cut the crap. Write something meaningful. This is my first blog into year 2012 tho.

I don't remember how cranky was 2011. Everyone said they look forward to a better year in 2012, because they think 2011 had been less fascinating for them. Well, I can't really say that because I don't know if 2011 was really bad indeed. I can't measure and therefore can't benchmark it.

I went to work as usual last Tuesday (Monday was a public holiday). My colleagues never changed and boss is still like a boss. So there's no difference in this area. How would I be able to tell if I'd hope for better version of colleagues & boss? Un-tick in wish-list.

The traffic was as bad (even worse) as it was every other day in 2011. Traffic polices are the same moronic team and I still don't have a clue about malaysian unethical driving behaviour. Un-tick again.

Family...Buddies...Friends...my Pet...status quo. All well ends well in 2011. I was blessed, because they hadn't change. I don't want them to have any drastic change affecting my life. They should still linger with me and paint my days colorful like they always have. So, un-tick again.

Hooray! Means there's nothing much I'd wish to improve/downgrade/change from year 2011. And coming into 2012, my life can just be almost the same like I had in any other year. Well, scenarios can be different. But I'd wish (hear my prayers!) that everyone and everything will be well & happy as always. If there should be some challenges, let those be incidents all of us face with courage & faith. After which, we will all be thankful and rejoice that 2012 is gonna be just like those good ol' days too.....

Don't count the time. Count the blessings.

How We Sentence Ourselves

Reinventing ourselves begin with language.

I'll never forget the moment that this first became perfectly clear to me. It was one of those moments of realization that you will never forget. Business consultant Becky Robbins was teaching a course in communication, and she casually said something that tied together and clarified for me nearly 11 years of research I had done in human development.

"Some people use language," she said, "to describe the lives they lead, and other people use language to create the lives they lead."

Yes, that was exactly it! Life begins for us in language. Behind every action is a thought, formed in words that paint a picture. This felt like a new discovery to me, but I knew it wasn't new to everyone. It has seen been pointed out to me that it was written long ago that "in the beginning there was the word".

Our energy and attitude are create by the language we think with. The impact is stronger than drugs, as medical tests with placebos have revealed for years. (One pill makes you larger. The other makes you small. Whatever the doctor says is what the pill seems to do.)

I could now see that my own work with high and low achievers had taught me exactly the same thing. People who are productive and fulfilled in life use a different language than the people who are struggling.

I'd even gotten to the point where I could interview people without knowing in advance if they were performing well or not, and I was able, just by listening to their language, to tell. Some of my clients began to joke that it was paranormal, but I told them it was simpler than that. I was just listening to their words.

You can always tell where a person's from by listening to the language he or she uses. Some people come from ownership, and some from victimization.

I began keeping notebooks filled with the language of high achievers (who I labeled as "owners") and another bulging pile of notebooks filled with the language of the people who were frustrated and struggling -- the "victims".

Owners use the word "can" alot, while victims favored "can't". Owners had goals, projects, and challenges, whereas victims had problems, hassles, and nightmares. Owners said they were busy, and victims said they were swamped. Owners were designing a life while victims were trying to make a living. Owners were psyched and excited about changes in the workplace while victims were worried and ticked off. Owners looked to see what they could get from an experience while victims tried to get through it.

Become the person YOU have always wanted to be.

Moments of contemplation

1. The wise enjoys moments of peace in the perfect imperfection of nature; not thinking, not planning, and not feeling guilty.

2. We all deserve to get away and have some peace; and others deserve the peace of us getting out of their way!

3. There's always something we can do instead of feeling upset, even if that something is just sitting peacefully for a while, not complaining.

4. "My father was offering unconditional love. No strings attached. I was his son and that was enough. It was beautiful. It was real. He meant it."

5. So we should always be grateful for the faults in our partner because if they didn't have those faults from the start, they would have been able to marry someone much better than us.

How did you sleep?

Good morning sweetheart, how did you sleep?
I didn't get one hour because you weren't next to me
I tossed and turned, tried to close my eyes
The bed was so cold without you by my side

Lately I been up thinking about you, not getting any rest
I tried holding my pillow, but it doesn't compare to your chest
I tried putting on music, but it doesn't compare to your heart beat
I needed your warmth, and your feet on my feet

Good morning baby, what did you dream?
Were you my hero, calming my fears and screams?
Were we on a beach holding hands, watching the sun go down
Making love, ruffling the sheets, exalting loud sounds?

Lately I been up thinking about you, dreaming of your lips
My heart pounds fast and occasionally the beat skips
I tried to dream longer and not interrupt the bliss
I didn't want to awake from the most beautiful kiss

Good morning sweetheart, how did you sleep?

Buddha says...

The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart.

- Buddha

All about L.O.V.E...(part2)

Love comes when manipulation stops; when you think more about the other person than about his or her reactions to you. When you dare to reveal yourself fully. When you dare to be vulnerable.

- Brothers, Dr. Joyce

The strenght of "hope"

Hope is a state of mind, not of the world. Hope, in this deep and powerful sense, is not the same as joy that things are going well, or willingness to invest in enterprises that are obviously heading for success, but rather an ability to work for something because it is good.
- Havel, Vaclav

Hope is both the earliest and the most indispensable virtue inherent in the state of being alive. If life is to be sustained hope must remain, even where confidence is wounded, trust impaired.
- Erikson, Erik H.

Hope is definitely not the same thing as optimism. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out.
- Havel, Vaclav

Hope is the last thing that dies in man; and though it be exceedingly deceitful, yet it is of this good use to us, that while we are traveling through life it conducts us in an easier and more pleasant way to our journey's end.
- La Rochefoucauld, Francois De

Remember...

Remember me when I am gone away. Gone far away into the silent night; when you can no more hold me by the hand~nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.....
Remember me when no more day by day...You tell me of our future that you planned. Only remember me, you understand.
It will be too late to counsel then or pray. Yet, if you should forget me for a while...and afterward remember, do not grieve. For if the darkness and corruption leave, a vistage of the thoughts that once I had.....
Better far you should forget and smile~than you should remember and sad....

by Chirstina Rossetti

Song

When I'm dead, my dearest
Sing no sad song for me
Plant thou no roses at my head
Nor shady cypress tree

Be the green grass above me
with showers and dewdrops wet

And if thou wilt, remember
And if thou wilt, forget

I shall not see the shadows
I shall not feel rain
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on......as if in pain
That doth not rise nor set

Happily, I remember
Happily, I forget............

Daddy says....

Throw an apple into the air, and it will certainly fall back to ground. This is the rule of Life, my dear......

-daddy Clement-

So you think it's nonsense? I don't think so. My dad is a guy with very few words...but if I ever listen attentively, I can feel that he is just teaching me life like life should be...and I bet this the best gift God have given to me...The quote? No, it's him.

"The Moon"

When I was a little girl
I thought about the moon
I wondered whether it was a bird
or the sun that came out too soon

I thought about some other things
Like what I'd like to be
I wondered why the bird in the tree sings
and whether I could be he

I imagined myself to be in many places
At different time with different faces
Sometimes I was as confused as can be
because I didn't know which one was me!

Then, I grew up and realized
this was just a game
That if I often fantasized
I would have no aim

I thought about the moon once more
This time an older girl
I knew what it was there for
No, it wasn't at all a bird

I realized the moon came out at night
To give us all some light
It had a time, a place, an aim
And it was there to stay
Until the sun came out again
and it was another day!

All about L.O.V.E...
