It was ages ago since I last saw her! I couldn't recall when was the last time we were hanging out together. In fact, we did hang out and it was oh-so-fun!
See...this gal went to Jacky Cheung concert with me. If that was not cool enough, we went to mountain people mountain sea watching English boy-band 911 at Sunway Pyramid. And that was 10 years ago. Yes, a century ago. Gosh, 10 f**king years!!
Ho Chieh Ern! Pang Yau! That's how we addressed each other. And we still do today. I would call her full name, and she would call me Ho 'Pung' Yen. And we both like to call Jules as Lee 'Ham' Peng. and then we giggle together. Jesus, so much to write. If I were to continue, how long would this page be.
Oh yeah yeah...this is classic. We used to boil telephone porridge for more than 3 hours after school, just chatting about Prince Williams. Yeah, Kate's hubby. As if we didn't have enough time chatting at school, we continued at respective home. And Mom proudly thought her daughter was doing homework revision with friend over the phone. What else....hmmm....also those endless McD session after prefectorial meetings! Jusco Maluri McD! I miss that place. I miss that life!
There will be some catching up to do with her. She need a friend, like all of us do. And I hope to be able to care for her, just like how we did. No matter how stressful and grey she thinks life is now, I hope she wouldn't give up. She is a nice girl. Nice girls should have a nice life....Guardian Angels, spend more time on her...

18th February of 2011
Loads of well wishes from friends or acquaintances were tagged to me at Facebook. A few close buddies even text-ed me directly to my phone, making the bonds much sweeter and of course, closer. Family members called, saying this should be the last birthday celebration away from home. The fact that I didn't spend my birthday at home for 2 years, startled me.
Time goes THAT fast??? Yes, admit it YennyHO...you are at your last twenties. And the BIG-3 is coming in. Boo-Hoo...
Despite all great lines of "Have a blast on your Bday" or "Enjoy your day to the max!" kind of wishes, I was practically and realistically spending my Birthday-29 at home. To be precise, on the bed. Alone.
Down with throat inflammation and fever, doctor gave me a day of MC with much mercy. Urrghh...medicine again...but in order to recover asap, I've got to take the call. Or else, suffer the pain - NO WAY!
I still got my birthday cake, and blown the candles away. Muuk got a rectangle shaped (so odd!) chocolate cake over...and I chocked myself happily with it. Earlier, all I had was pancake with syrup and congee. It was only complete when I got that choco on my tastebuds again! I love d cake ! And love u too, Muuk ! You made my (helpless) birthday special again !
And JoyceHO told me Dad's eyesight needs a specialist's attention too. Dad is seeing sparks of line whenever he's in a dark room/place. When JoyceHO replied saying nothing is too scary...it took my worries away. Will follow up on this when I get home soon.
Well...there goes the special day. And deep in my heart...every birthday reminds me of the labor pain Mom had gone through for me. And for that, I should thank her instead, she should deserve the Happy Birthday wishes much more than I should. Love U SinMee...

my first Tiramisu -- with Enrico Loh
I don't know why many people perceive me as a dumb chef. They think I can't cook rice out of an electronic cooker, and many doubt if I can fry a telur mata kerbau. Gosh, they don't know me yet.
I am learning, and progressing into a better kitchen person, since I came to Makati. Who doesn't agree that every survival skill includes making foods edible? Let's see. I have made mongo, chili okra, sweet & sour pancit canton and herbs & spice chicken ... these are the confirmed edible ones. Others, I am still projecting myself to it.
My third achievement back Home -- was learning some good hands at Tiramisu. I think I met Enrico a.k.a Rojak at UCSI, and no better memories about cookery reminds me of him. This Food Science guy, who gets kinda lots of attention from gals because he cooks. LOLX....and to my surprise, he taught me Tiramisu.

I told him I don't fancy Tiramisu, maybe it's too sweet for me. I am a bittersweet chocolate person, because I think it feels relaxing to mix two different flavors, and melts it in my mouth.
But learning Tiramisu from Rojak was great. I think he loves food, every particular flavors transformed within. Of course, I hope he loves food as how he loves life...not every human can make something out of real passion.
And to the girl fated to be Rojak's girlfriend/wife...you are one lucky girl. Because he is gonna make food out of love!

Sherine darl'
My second proudest achievement (well, I have to call it achievement when time is really running out) in my 2-weeks journey at home is ....tang-tang-tang-tang.....having most of my extra time with Sherine Chin Oi Lian (dunno why like to call her full name).
Yea, searched through my camera; no pictures taken with her during those outing. No problem, can't possibly forget her curl lashes and pinkish apple cheeks. Muacks.
It sounded as if some regular talks. But hell no. You won't see or hear anything similar happening to me without her presence. I don't talk to anyone else the same way I talked to her. It's not just plain chemical between us. It's working like magic. Some kinda strong powerful potion that a white witch have spelled on us, and created bonds that real sister might not even have...it's like love without sex! (yes...stop laughing.. =.= )
I don't know how the topic flowed, but I was finding a confidante in her by digging some of my old darkest secrets -- and revealed to her naturally. Not that I have planned to hide it from her before, but maybe some stuffs which I thought I have swept under the carpet.
I told her how much I hate his family. This is certainly my red button, because I can't believe it myself. Just like the vulnerable side of me whom afraid of crying in public...I thought I have engraved the thoughts of hatred somewhere in a black hole.
I told Darl' how much I hated his family, and why they have made me so so so mad at them. As more I speak, I feel much lighter. I feel like slightly brand new, because Darl told me not to feel bad of hating them. Less sense of guiltiness drowned me when Darl told me that it is very natural for me to hate them, and if Darl would have encountered the same thing, wishing them all dead is not entirely wrong too.
I am not saying that Darl is supporting my voodoo thoughts. I am declaring that Darl would always have this charisma and charm to lead me into becoming a person that I should really am. After so long surviving on a foreigner's land, I feel that I can be true to someone I call my --- best best closest darling sister.
Yea, it felt great after that simple yet close to heart conversation with her. I don't know what else can I say -- except telling her YOU MEAN A LOT TO ME!!!!!!!!!
Don't you dare leaving this relationship as long as I'm still alive.
Love you and I am blessed to have known you.

here comes HOME!
There...there....I have been busy as a bee; free like a bird. I have hated enough to make me lost control and I have loved so much it felt angelic. I have cursed enough, but could still remember the importance of a good pat on the back.
Many scenarios happened, many feelings remixed. All these that happened at Makati are gonna wrap up for awhile now, because Yenny is leaving you -- to be HOME!
A loud loud arrrgggghhhhh.......I AM FINALLY HOME!!! is what you people at 27 Jln Jaya 3A gonna hear!
It will be so much fun. So much love.

Love is in the air...for lovely "S"
Well, Sis Sherine's ROM just passed with lots of love & happiness...Didn't have much time to go through FB or her blog yet. But, I am ready to any excitement and all smiles knowing she is well taken care of and lovey-dovey all the way~!
And another "S"....yea Selina of S.H.E also openly broadcast her 3 years relationship with a long-gossip boyfriend Zhang Cheng Zhong. The guy actually confessed their relationship openly at SHE is the ONE Concert Taipei in end of May. Well, not easy-peasy for celebs nowadays to admit a relationship openly. Zhong even calls Selina 老婆; witnessed by H & E (and thousands of fans).. 老婆 is well-known SHE-language, where these 3-gals calls each other out of strong sisterly bond. Bravo, Zhong & Selina!!!
There...there....to my both best "S" --- Sherine & Selina:
Finding Love is a lifetime journey. Embracing Love is a lifetime achievement. Let Love Live! -yenny-

all Happy things..~*~*~
Happy jigs no.1
I'd love to see Sherine in that long, classy, white gown during her ROM next month. Even though I can't make it back home that time, I'd knew I would be exciting for her. It feels like fairytale knowing her sometimes...she always reminds me that rainbows does shine after some bad rainy days. And I can see that happiness and love shines through her very eyes...a beautiful gift from God, telling her "Hey gal, you've always been a brave, and kind at heart. All those bitter days which I've tested on you have finally reached an ending. You have earned the best reward from me, and now I'm presenting to you - truly blessed happiness & eternal love..."
And yes, believe me that you are special friend, supportive daughter, passionate mother and very soon...a loving wife. You are a gift, and you'll always be. Muaks.
Happy jigs no.2
Family trip to Hong Kong, confirmed on 21st - 25th January 2011. Gosh, I'm happy that Daddy's dream is coming so soon! and I'm proud that I have the chance to play a part in materializing his dreams. Daddy, we as family, are finally able to celebrate pre-CNY at HK next year. You've always wanted to do this, and I could still remember how your eyes sparkles just thinking about it. And Daddy, we will be doing it very soon. You don't have to wait too long, cos next CNY's the DAY!!!
Happy jigs no.3
Leo is getting fatter, and cuter as days goes. And he is definitely making Mom very very happy. If only I'd knew earlier that a pet could have made Mom so cheerful and fills her days with happiness - I would have bought a doggie right after Baby left us. But, as I learned today that sweet dreams do come true, I guess there's really no point looking back and sigh. When there's fate, there will be love...
Happy jigs no.4
I had Ikan Kembong as supper last night (yea, and you'd think...huh~ why tiba tiba talk about Ikan Kembong neh~!)If anyone would know me well enough, I'm never a fish person. I can settle for fish&chips, or sashimi salmon/tuna, or any fish that's boneless. Pity me, I chocked on a big fish bone when I was young and thus, paranoid. Any fish serving that comes with it's head, body, tail and bones will turn me off immediately. But surprisingly, I ate the whole Ikan Kembong last night! With sambal! *yummy* As I carefully remove every single piece of bone from the fish, it made me think of Mom...she would always remove all bones she could possibly see before serving me the fillet. I'd love to watch her eat fish, because no matter how, she always look like a pro. Yes, my mom's a fish-eating-pro and I'm proud of her! and yes, that Ikan Kembong last night made me think of Mom in a very special way...so bonding!

May is coming to an end soon. Which means, June is coming in. And after so, July...August...gonna approach too. And when Sept reigns in.....~*~*~*~ time to be HOME...! Everybody....let the FUN begins!

2 weeks, 14 days, 336 hours, 20160 seconds .....
27 Jan 2010 - 10 Feb 2010
What precious moments I had! After such long waited, tiring and challenging encounters I had abroad, I was finally HOME. It was so good to see Superdad & Supermom again after almost 6 months of lonely lives apart with them. I was surprisingly more HOME-ly than I was ever did before; I thought I would be out most of the time when I'm back but I didn't. I only had a few countable rounds of drinking sessions with friends, and there were no urges to hit any famous pubs / clubs at all. I love to stay at HOME, even though I was practically doing nothing!
But was glad to see Sis especially; and loved the lunch-out we had at Pavilion. Also, loved the white wallet (or purse? I dunno how to differentiate both actually) because she's always there to improve my fashion disaster. I mean, I don't have a wide range of 'stuffs', I always stick to those I'm familiar with. Not because I don't like other stuffs, but I'm just so laid-back on things I'm familiar with, and therefore lazy to try new things. But that white wallet, made me feel and look more feminine; and mature - something I wouldn't have the courage (or motivation) to buy it myself. So now, she'd better believe me that I really like the wallet....and I'm gonna use it.
Also, heartfelt pleasure to hang out with Elyn, Chi, Usim, Ashleigh, Erica, Sellina, and (VIP) Choo..! Gosh, Choo did really changed to ermmmm.....better! She's less 38 and is more considerate this time around I saw her. Good for her....
Back to my family, really loved those HOME-cooked food by Chef Mom. Love those vegetarian dishes, sambal prawn....oh yes! those soups! yummy! My tummy's grrr-ing while I write these...sure still miss those food I have in mind now.
Apart from Chef Mom's recipe, I also enjoyed Hokkien Mee, Beef Noodles, and Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun...all eating-outs with Sir Bobby! yummy, and I can still remember Bobby's blushing red face from the Beef Noodle's super hot chili....ngek ngek ngek.....still want to always lan-si eating small chili in front of me..?...
There are so so many other things I might have left out here, or it was simply just happiness difficult to be expressed in words. Joyce said I would treasure HOME so much now; most probably due to I was away from HOME for too long. If I hadn't left home for work abroad, I wouldn't sense all these emotional touch now...
So true...so as I said, I should be proud of myself that I have made such decision to leave HOME. Not only I gained immeasurable life experiences, I have developed a wholesome personality full with love, contentment and thankfulness.

Sis~miss U !
I'm getting so restless now. I wish I can just rush to Clarke Airport now and grab myself a one-way ticket ~~~ all the way back to KL and never ever leave HOME again....
Sis had very bad encounter with her moron brother yesterday; I'm feeling as angry and at the same time, wished I could be with her at times she needs me. Well, we can't really be physically with each other all the time, but it was just a call away between us. But now.....things are so not the same!
The brother is also another moron, childish chap. If you peep from his left ear, you'll be able to see the other side through his right ear - because there's practically no brains in between to block your view....Hmmppphh!
I know if we were online with each other that time, I will be able to crack some jokes with her so she don't feel so bad after all....Or I can also join the row and blurt all sorts of foul languages that both of us can possibly think of...at least to share out a piece of Sis emotions.....
But now....we both know distance is parting us. And what am I still doing here...?

F.R.I.E.N.D.S
I remembered hearing daddy sighed that his less-than-perfect life he have now is not being lucky enough to find any true friends ever. Most of his friends ~ be it school or work, had just crossed paths with him; never really left any footprints in his heart. Well, knowing daddy, I guess this is really something lacking in him. I hold his hands and say, "hey dude, no problem, you've got me. Friends forever, k..."
Friends forever....it's simple to get friends. But forever...?

Friends forever may sound too much like fairytale, but no doubt I have gained two great sisters in my life. Sherine + Sellina = double shot of fun, wacky, enjoyable recipe!
sherine: gosh, you will never know what type of connections we have. Beats all Digi, WiMax, whatever Celcom/Maxis territory. Imagine we can laugh at some stuffs together, but yet no one cracked any jokes. Or we can be talking nonsense and only we both knows there's always a meaningful and special care beneath each and every mou-lei-tau jokes we cracked. We have been through so much...because I think we both carry an important role in each other's growing years....I couldn't have asked for anything more as God has given me such great Sis.
sellina: heh....she can be out of her mind sometimes, but you can be guaranteed to get all sorts of surprises from her. To me, she's really a sweet and simple girl, but wrapped with so much kindness and sophisticating thoughts with her. People says, a person with a good heart glows on the outside. Take a look at top of her head, you can see that angelic ring....yea, it's good to have this little angel around because you won't miss any chance to laugh...
Sis, it's no longer a simple friendship we are leading. You are so much like family to me. You know how much I've prayed to have a big Sista....and now, not that I only got one but TWO...! love you both...muaks!
